About Me

I’m a global Product Experience leader, and I co-host the Enterprise Design Podcast. My focus is on fostering equitable and inclusive enterprise design teams, a mission close to my heart, guided by empathy and love.

In my present role, I oversee the Design Platform at VMware, with a mission to enhance the efficiency, consistency, and unity of the VMware Design team.

Recently, I had the opportunity to build a global design team for VMware Platform Services. It’s been a journey of transformation, taking a single contributor role to leading a cohesive team of 11 talented individuals. Throughout this journey, I’ve advocated for democratizing design by introducing UX education and Maturity programs.

Before this, my career spanned various leadership roles in software development at VMware, Apple, and IBM. As a corporate trainer, I had the pleasure of sharing my knowledge with over 200 individuals on Web & UI technologies. My UI development experience ranges from crafting scalable Intranet Websites to developing Online Casino Games.

My personal experiences, including being color-blind, have shaped my passion for advocating accessibility best practices in both design and development. Ensuring digital products and solutions are accessible to all is a cause I hold dear.

In my spare time, I enjoy mentoring the next generation of design leaders at San Jose State University, hosting events around the Bay Area, and playing the drums in a local band.
